Several departments from the area participated in a University of Missouri vehicle rescue class at Hayti on 6/14 & 6/15.

Santa Clause will be at the Wardell Fire Station this Sunday the 16th from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Drop by and give him your wish list. Snacks and drinks provided. Hope to see you there.

Firefighters and First Responders will be going door to door Saturday November 3rd checking smoke detectors. They will start in Wardell around 10 am and work there way out to the rural area as time allows. Smoke detectors will be checked for proper function, placement and batteries will be replaced. New batteries and detectors will be installed free of charge.
